Directions
to
Auburn
Middle School
and the LAYSA Fields
Via Rt. 136 from
Freeport
- Take Rt. 136 through
Durham
into
Auburn
. When you come into
Auburn
stay straight and go to the
stop sign. The Auburn Rollerdrome will be on your right.
Take a left and go to the light and take a right. Take a right
at the next set of lights there will be a small diner on your right.
You will go past Florian's Market on the left. At the next set
of lights take a left. When you get to the blinking red light
(maybe just a stop sign) take a left. The road will bend to the
right and you'll go by the Village Inn Restaurant. At the light,
take a left onto
Minot Ave.
You will continue on
Minot Ave.
until you come to your 4th
right (maybe 5th) called
Fairview Ave.
There will be a big
pink gift shop called Gooseberry Barn on the corner. Take a right onto
Fairview Ave.
and go up over the hill.
When you get to the stop sign at the end of
Fairview Ave.
take a right onto Court St.
Begin immediately looking on the left for the entrance to
Auburn
Middle School
. Stay to the right of
the school and park out back. We will be playing on LAYSA
Fields, which are in the new fenced in area a ways up.
Via Rt. 196 from
Lisbon
- Take
Rt. 196 into
Lewiston
. You will be on
Lisbon Street
follow it straight
through downtown
Lewiston
until it ends at
Main St
. You will have to turn
Left or Right. Turn Left and go over the bridge
into
Auburn
, continue up the hill you
will go past Denny's Restaurant on your right. Keep going up
Goff Hill, it will level off for a stretch and then you go up hill
some more. When you start going down hill you will see a housing
development on your left, look on your right for the
entrance to
Auburn
Middle School
. The school sets back
off the road. Go to the right of the school and park out back.
We will be playing on LAYSA Fields, which are in the new fenced in
area a way up.
Via Route 100 through
Gray or
Maine
Turnpike - If
you come to
Auburn
by the turnpike or down Route
100 you will be on
Washington St
. Route 100 becomes
Washington St.
somewhere near Exit 12 of the
Maine Turnpike. If you come off Exit 12 you will have to take a
left onto
Washington St
. Follow
Washington St.
towards town. As you get
closer to town look on your left for
Roy
's All-Steak Hamburger
Restaurant. You will go through two more sets of lights, when
you come to the third set of lights, stay in the far left turning
lane. In front of you should be Denny's Restaurant on your right
and a new CVS Pharmacy on your left. Take a left onto Court St.
and go up the big hill. It's called Goff Hill. Continue
going up Goff Hill until it finally peaks quite a ways up. When
you start coming down the backside of the hill, you will see a housing
development on your left. Start looking on the right for the
entrance to
Auburn
Middle School
. The school itself sits
back off the road but you can see it. Turn right into the
entrance road and go around the right side of the school and park out
back. You will see the fields and we are on the furthest field
up in the fenced in area. I hope these directions work out for you.
